The facelift retains the Punch EV’s upright micro-SUV stance but introduces subtle styling refinements. The black strip that previously connected the headlamps has been removed, giving the front a cleaner look. The bumper has been redesigned with a larger air dam and textured faux silver skid plate. The closed grille layout, split LED headlamp setup and Y-shaped DRLs continue unchanged. The centrally positioned charging flap remains integrated with the Tata logo, and the front camera is placed below it as part of the 360-degree system.

From the side, the profile remains familiar with thick contrasting body cladding, roof rails, blacked-out ORVMs with turn indicators and 16-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels. The C-pillar-mounted rear door handles maintain the sporty visual effect. At the rear, connected LED tail lamps with black casing, a larger integrated spoiler and a redesigned bumper with revised reflector elements add a more contemporary finish. Ground clearance stands at 195mm, water-wading capacity is rated at 450mm and kerb weight is 1360kg.

The colour palette now includes Fearless Yellow, Bengal Rouge and Caramel among seven available shades, alongside Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey, Supernova Copper and Pristine White.

Inside, the dashboard layout remains largely unchanged but now features a refreshed grey-and-white dual-tone theme with improved trims. Higher variants offer a 10.25-inch HD infotainment system by Harman and a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster with embedded navigation display.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, a voice-assisted electric sunroof, ambient lighting and a wireless charging pad are available depending on the variant. The cabin also includes a cooled glove box, cabin air purifier and jewelled rotary drive selector. Paddle shifters allow drivers to control four levels of regenerative braking across Eco, City and Sport drive modes.

The facelift replaces the earlier 25kWh and 35kWh battery packs with 30kWh (Medium Range) and 40kWh (Long Range) options. The 30kWh variant delivers a claimed 365–375km MIDC (P1+P2) range, with an estimated real-world range of 260–275km. The larger 40kWh battery offers a 468km ARAI-certified range and a 355km C75 real-world range.

The front-mounted electric motor produces 88PS in the 30kWh version and 129PS (95kW) in the 40kWh version, both generating 154Nm of torque. The 40kWh variant accelerates from 0–100km/h in around nine seconds and offers 32 percent restart gradeability.

Fast charging support enables a 20–80 percent charge in 26 minutes using a 65kW DC charger, while a 15-minute top-up can add up to 135km of range. Engineering enhancements include the use of prismatic cells for better integration, an optimised battery management system, improved thermal management and the integration of drivetrain components into a single e-Drive module to reduce complexity. The wall-box charger has also been redesigned.

The 40kWh battery comes with a lifetime unlimited kilometre high-voltage warranty, while the 30kWh version carries an eight-year warranty extendable by two years.

A Spiritual Perspective on True Knowledge by Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj Ji

While technological progress like electric mobility reflects material advancement, spiritual growth remains equally important. Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj teaches that true development is achieved when human life follows authentic scriptural knowledge and correct worship.

According to His discourses, lasting peace and freedom from suffering come through understanding the Supreme God as described in holy scriptures. In a rapidly advancing world, He emphasises that spiritual clarity and true devotion are essential for building a balanced and meaningful life.

Strengthening Tata’s Entry-Level EV Strategy

With the 2026 Punch EV Facelift, Tata has focused on delivering practical improvements rather than cosmetic overhauls. The introduction of a denser 40kWh battery, faster charging capability, lifetime warranty coverage and flexible BaaS pricing enhances ownership confidence.

By combining improved range, expanded charging infrastructure and competitive pricing, the updated Punch EV reinforces its position as a value-driven electric SUV designed to accelerate EV adoption in India.
