SARAS was implemented by CBSE to settle the matter in a time bound manner.  This was also done to avoid any kind of undue harassment to all the concerned stakeholders.  Actually, the board has taken this decision due to the problem in the rules regarding affiliation.

SARAS implementation by CBSE

The board had said many schools were facing problems in procuring the mandatory documents as per the Affiliation Bye-Laws 2018.  This was happening because many government offices were not working at full capacity due to COVID-19.  Due to all these things, applications under SARAS were getting rejected, due to which the board has taken this decision.
