Odisha CM Kisan Yojana: INR 1,041 Crore Disbursed to 51 Lakh Farmers Before Nuakhai

A day before the agrarian festival of Nuakhai Festival, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi released the third installment of CM Kisan Yojana worth INR 1,041 crore, directly benefiting over 51 lakh farmers in Odisha. All the small and marginal farmers have received financial support of INR 2,000 for the upcoming Rabi crop season.

Support to Cultivators for Cultivation

  • INR 2,000 per crop season (Kharif & Rabi).
  • Total INR 4,000 per annum for purchasing seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, labor charges, and other farming expenses.

Livelihood Support to Landless Agricultural Households (LAH)

  • INR 12,500 financial assistance in three tranches.

    • Mushroom cultivation
    • Beekeeping
    • Dairy & tasar farming

Krushi Bidya Nidhi Yojana (Scholarship)

  • Financial support for children of CM-Kisan beneficiaries.
  • Covers Medical, Engineering, Agriculture, ITI, Nursing, Diploma, and premier institutes like IIT, NIT, IIM, AIIMS, ICAR.
  • Scholarship includes tuition fees, hostel charges (INR 1,000–INR 1,200/month), and other academic expenses.
