SSC GD Physical Result 2025 Out: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the General Duty (GD) Constable Result 2025 for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) at its official website ssc.gov.in.
The long-awaited results mark a crucial step in the massive national recruitment drive for 53,690 Constable posts across multiple Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), the Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
According to SSC, 1,26,736 candidates have qualified the physical rounds and will now appear for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV). The Commission has also released the official cut-off marks for all-India vacancies in NCB and SSF along with separate result PDFs for male and female candidates.
The SSC GD Constable exam is one of India’s largest recruitment drives for uniformed services. It aims to appoint constables in central forces responsible for border management, internal security, and narcotics control. The 2025 cycle seeks to fill 53,690 positions, offering 48,320 for male and 5,370 for female aspirants across eight forces.
The selection procedure includes three phases : a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), followed by PET/PST, and finally the DME and DV. Only those who successfully clear the medical test and document check will receive appointment letters in their respective forces.
After the Computer-Based Examination held earlier this year, 3,94,121 candidates were shortlisted to appear for the physical stage including 3,53,908 males and 40,213 females.
Out of these, 2,59,359 candidates actually appeared, while 1,34,762 were absent. Following the PET and PST, 1,26,736 qualified for the next round. SSC also noted that the results of some candidates have been temporarily withheld, and 45 female candidates were marked as temporarily unfit pending re-evaluation.
The PET and PST were held across recruitment zones covering the following organisations:
These agencies form the backbone of India’s internal security and law-enforcement framework, and the GD Constable recruitment is the primary route through which thousands of young aspirants enter these forces each year.
Candidates can verify their qualifying status by following these simple steps:

2. On the homepage, click the “Results” section.

Alongside the result, SSC released the official cut-off marks for NCB and SSF categories. The data shows competitive score ranges, particularly in the Unreserved and OBC sections.
These figures highlight the growing competition among candidates aspiring to join the paramilitary and security forces through the SSC GD exam.
All candidates who have cleared the PET and PST are now eligible for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV). The Commission has advised candidates to regularly visit the official SSC portal for updates on the DME/DV schedule and venue.
During the DME, medical officers will assess the overall health, eyesight, and physical fitness of shortlisted aspirants to ensure they meet service standards. Only those who qualify medically and verify their documents successfully will proceed to the final merit list.
Across India, the announcement has generated immense excitement. The SSC GD Constable exam is one of the most sought-after opportunities for youth aiming for central government service in uniform. Social-media platforms have been flooded with congratulatory posts and result discussions, while coaching institutes are analysing the latest cut-offs and trends to guide next-year aspirants.
Many candidates who narrowly missed the qualifying marks have expressed hope of performing better in the next recruitment cycle, reflecting the growing interest in government defence careers.
The 2025 recruitment cycle underscores SSC’s commitment to conducting large-scale, transparent examinations. With nearly four lakh aspirants at the physical test stage and more than a lakh qualifying for the medical round, this selection is among the largest of its kind in recent years.
It not only strengthens national security forces but also provides stable employment opportunities to thousands of youth across India, making SSC GD a symbol of both discipline and national service.
As candidates gear up for the Medical and Document Verification, they must ensure all necessary certificates, ID proofs, and health records are in order. The DME results will determine final eligibility, after which the SSC will publish the merit list based on overall performance.
Those who finally make it to the list will join India’s frontline security forces, contributing directly to the nation’s safety and integrity.
The declaration of the SSC GD Constable Result 2025 marks another milestone in India’s ongoing effort to strengthen its paramilitary framework. With 1.26 lakh candidates clearing the physical stage and preparing for the medical tests, the recruitment has entered its decisive phase.
The coming weeks will see thousands undergoing final assessments that pave the way for a secure and honourable career in service to the nation. Aspirants are advised to stay alert for official notifications and continue preparing mentally and physically for the concluding rounds.
