The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has raised serious concerns over a truck allegedly carrying EVMs being moved into the Sasaram counting center without prior notice. The party claimed that the district administration acted without transparency and questioned why the truck drivers were released without investigation and why the CCTV feed was turned off from 2 PM. The RJD demanded the full CCTV footage and a clear explanation about the contents of the truck, sharing visuals that showed people protesting outside the closed gate of the center while a truck stood inside.

Tejashwi Yadav says, prepared to Deal with ‘Unconstitutional Activity’

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav held an online meeting with party candidates and district officials to discuss guidelines and preparations for vote counting in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. In a post on X, he said that Bihar’s justice-loving and democratic citizens are alert, vigilant, and fully prepared to protect democracy and the Constitution.

• The Bihar Assembly Election 2025 saw a record voter turnout of 67.13%, the highest ever in the state since 1951.
  
• Women voters showed strong participation with 71.78% turnout, higher than 62.98% among men.
  
• A total of 7.45 crore voters were registered after a Special Intensive Revision 2025, ensuring a clean and updated voter list.
  
• The Election Commission of India (ECI) set up 90,740 polling stations across Bihar, all monitored live through Webcasting for transparency.
  
• The ECINet system supported real-time data collection and monitoring during the elections.
  
• The election was held in two phases across 122 Assembly Constituencies, managed by 122 Returning Officers and 122 General Observers.
  
• Around 460 candidates or their agents took part in the scrutiny process, which went smoothly without any complaints.
  
• No re-polling was required this time — a first in Bihar’s recent election history — showing fair and efficient polling.
